Grandparents who can't see their grandchildren

I would love to see my grandson. However, I haven't seen him in almost ll months. You see, his momma didn't marry my son. Actually, he was 4 months old, before we were aware he actually existed. Paternity tests did reveal I am a grandma. I am just hurt and angry that I was deprived of one of the most special things in this life. I have tried to just not say anything. I would love to hear if anyone else is in the same boat. I feel torn.............I truly just don't understand people anymore. Your comments or suggestions would be welcome.
