Great link Maurene
I'd love to have the option, when I walked into starbucks, of having local placeblogs fed into a special feedreader on my iPhone. Forget telling me what the last five songs Starbucks played in their stores - feed me local bloggers and placebloggers!
That would be cool, wouldn't it?

Looking for more honest networking
I second Denise. I liked the article and Read/Write/Web is one of my favorite blogs, but I didn't find it very helpful in terms of social networking. It seems the web has moved so much father along since the days of moving train videos, but then, I might be biased.

Broadening Horizons, One HyperLocal at a Time
Maurene:
Thanks for the link. Have to admit I've had my nose buried in sports blog, particularly the NBA. How nice to broaden my horizons hyperlocally, as ironic as that may be.
