Hi everyone:

I just joined BlogHer and wanted to say a bit about myself and my blog. I'm a 48 year old lifetime singleton who is grappling with issues of getting older alone, and being a single woman "of a certain age" in our very family-oriented culture. My blog is a bit all over the place, as I hope to document what I consider to be a fairly multifaceted life. I don't think there are many older single women blogging these days, and I would like to inspire others to contribute. Mostly I want to be part of this whole crazy modern blogging world.

I live with 3 dogs and a cat, and love to talk about them and take pictures of them, and I do like to include a lot of photos on my site. I hope you'll check it out!
