Intro

Hello - -I'm wendy - - a new beekeeper this year with 2 hives in Central IL.  So far so good, they are alive anyway.

I'm generally aiming for a no treatments approach to beekeeping - - it's most consistent with my green attitude (blog is midwest green - about moving my family to an increasingly eco-friendly lifestyle).  Anyway, we'll see if I can actually keep bees alive without treatments.

And you?  how long have you been keeping bees?  how many hives do you have?  and where, more or less, are you and the bees located?

I'm hoping this group will be fun for all and useful too.
