Advice for Writing Fiction Query Letters

How do you break through the noise without an established personal relationship with a literary agent? (I wish I could tell you I have a literary agent or I AM a literary agent, but I don't, and I'm not. Hopefully we'll have one speak up here in the forum!) But in the meantime, read this short piece from Writer's Digest about structuring a useful three-paragraph query letter.
