I'm about to start reading Elizabeth Gilbert's second best selling memoir: Committed. It is hot on the heels of Eat, Pray, Love. Two memoirs on the best seller list from the same author is amazing, I think.
I'm wondering if the popularity of personal blogging has anything to do with our appetite for the memoir. Have we developed more of an appetite for personal stories because of blogging, and is this giving Elizabeth Gilbert a little push toward the best seller list?
