DFW Blogger Holiday Parties!!

Hey DFW Bloggers: 'Tis the season to par-tay! BlogHer and the local DFW Blogging Group are here to help you get in the mood for some holiday cheer. We're celebrating the season with two (yes, two!) get-togethers during the first week of December.

These pre-holiday bashes are great ways to meet fellow bloggers and get involved in our local (and growing!) blogging community.

Read below for more details on how to GIVE (we're having a food drive!) and RECEIVE (fun gifts!) with other bloggers this holiday season!

GIVE!

BlogHer Holiday Party - Join us for a potluck lunch on Saturday, December 5th. DFW bloggers and tweeters are invited to a casual, family-friendly networking event in Plano. We'll be collecting non-perishable foods benefitting the North Texas Food Bank, so if you've found your pantry overstocked this holiday season, help us GIVE to those in need. We'll have food, drinks and rockin' music, plus the opportunity to network with locals!

• DATE: Saturday, December 5th
• PLACE: 805 Purcell Drive, Plano, TX (Home of Eddie Renz, who some of you may remember as That Guy who got the BlogHer '09 karaoke party jumping with Outkast's "Hey Ya")
• TIME: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
• LEARN MORE: Donate canned veggies/fruits/beans, rice/pasta, tuna/canned meats, soups/stews/chilis, peanut butter, cereal, boxed meals, etc.

RECEIVE!

Easysale Blogger Party - Metroplex bloggers are invited to a holiday party at Easysale's Addison store on Tuesday, December 1st.  All attendees will RECEIVE a VIP certificate from Easysale that is good for one free sale using their services. There will be tons of food and drinks, plus fun networking opportunities with local bloggers and tweeters.
