Growing up I had a baby alive doll that wet her pants and ate food. It was quite messy and the thrill of playing with her died quickly - not to mention the food was not the best smelling stuff in the world! Today, things have really progressed. For Christmas I asked my husband to buy our two year old a robotic dinosaur. It is cute, walks and roars. Perfect for my son. When he was out looking he called me and told me that the dinosaur he purchased might not fit in the car. I had a hard time wrapping my mind around that because I'd requested that he buy a dinosaur that was a foot high (at most).
Well, hubby returned home with a lifesize (I guess) baby tricerotops that responds when you talk to it, moves its eyes, makes chewing sounds when you feed it and my son can ride it! This thing plays safari like music while galloping. I have to say that Kota is like a member of the family, I find myself talking to it even when my son is not around.
Technology of today amazes me. What new and exciting toys have you come across lately?
