We finally got our new family desktop computer. And went with lots of RAM so we had to also go with the 64-bit version of Windows.
This is severely limiting what software we can use. Especially when it comes to the low end offerings that are childrens' software.
If anyone else is running 64-bit Windows and has been down the software frustration pike, can you give a shout out?
If you know nothing about the different versions of Windows, please still participate. I'm interested in some fun, easy to play, educational games for my four-year-old who is in love with computer games. We already have NickJr (aka, Noggin, which I refuse to call anything but Noggin and have labeled AS Noggin on the bookmark toolbar), Sesame Street games, Super Why, Thomas the Train and Starfall all bookmarked on the toolbar so he can access them easily. As such, I'm open to other online games that are educational and easy. But I also thought some good CD-Rom games would be acceptable since he also knows how to work the drive.
Have a favorite game? Have a game that was a waste of time/money? Have a game that you know doesn't work with 64-big Windows?
Let us all know!
