Yesterday, I wrote about a new Pew study that showed that nearly 50 percent of teens have been a passenger in a car while the driver was texting.
Does that include you?
I admit, ruefully, that I am a "check the messages at the stoplight" driver, even though I know I probably shouldn't.
But if we don't model the right behavior for our kids, why should we be surprised if they engage in the same equally dangerous habits.
Can you stop? I am trying. Really trying.
