I knit on an airplane!

Even though I know people have done it many times and do it all the time (I do read the Yarn Harlot) I've always been intimidated by the idea of knitting on an airplane. I was convinced that airport security would take away my beloved knitting needles and squishy, squishy yarn.

It was wonderful. I was too tired to read so I just stuck in my headphones and watched a movie and knit and knit and knit. I did more knitting on that flight than I did in the month since I cast on the sock.

I forget that the best way for me to knit is to watch television or a movie. Or listen to an audio book. Or knit in the car.

Do you knit on airplanes? In the car? Where do you knit best?
