Knitting Olympics

Is anyone doing the Ravelympics or any type of knitting and Olympic type of challenges? Are you knitting anything Olympic themed?

I love, love, love the idea of the Ravelympics (or the original knitting Olympics if Yarn Harlot decides to do her version again) but it's not for me. I could perhaps knit something very small and finish in that time but that is not really quite in the spirit of the event is it? It should be challenging! I am almost tempted to see if I could make the lace scarf I want to make in that time but well, I just know that there would be a really close hockey game or something dramatic would happen and I'd drop 10 stitches and then I'd have to rip and omg I can just imagine my own personal knitting drama if that happened with that scarf.

(This a scarf that I took to a knitting date and started and frogged five times in 3.5 hours. I haven't looked at it since. I need to formulate a better strategy for it first.)

But yes, knitting and Olympics. Who's playing?
