Joss Whedon to direct "Glee!"

I literally can't think of a headline that would please @lisastone more than "Joss Whedon to Direct Glee" -- he confirmed the news on his blog late last week. But ... I have questions.

Are you guys watching this season? What do you think of "Glee?" And would you want to see a full-musical episode a la "Once More with Feeling?" or Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, or do you prefer the less operatic and more choreographed numbers "Glee" favors?

And what do you think this news mean for the future of "Dollhouse?" (Whedon says: "No, this doesn't mean Dollhouse definitely won't get a back nine. Our numbers mean that! But I kid. Okay, we're not exactly saving all the good stuff for 14-22, but nobody's closed the door. If D'House suddenly busts wide, huzzah, we'll still bring it, and I'll still go and direct an episode of Glee")

Definitely agree with Catherine on Mamapop: "Now if he could just arrange for Neil Patrick Harris to guest star …"
