YahooHey Mummy Writers - you will note that is MUMMY not MOMMY -
Am I outnumbered here? I am from Australia ! Not sure why we differ in the spelling but we do. Thought it might be lonely to start the Mummy Writers group though!
So, I am 30 - new to Mamahood, new to blogging, new to blogher - and now new to this group - lots of news all round.
I am also newly living in a country town and I MISS the city - fell in love with a FARMER which was a complete shock - (wasn't my usual 'type') whirlwind adventure including us trotting off to Vietnam to teach english when I found out I was PREGNANT! Now back in Australia in small town raising little boy and trying to become a WRITER
I have always always written. When I die I cringe at what people will find written. No element of my life is not written!
Being in a small town I really need to connect with other Mamas and Writers - and I have high ambition - I want to be a columnist , author and great blogger.
Blogging is new to me and I feel vulnerable and am lacking confidence having looked at so many fantastic blogs - but I see it as a learning curve and am just going to keep writing. I guess there is no good, nor bad - it is just about being true to yourself, right?
Anyway - I really need the support, inspiration and humour , lets just say I really need to connect with people in the same situation - even if we spell Mum differently - we all have the same needs right?
