About Activities for kids

Welcome all!

This group is designed for parents of young children to share and find creative and safe crafts and activities to try out.  There are so many things out there to try, but it's always nice to receive ideas that have already been attempted (with success) by others.  In addition to the quality time that you'll get to spend with your kids, crafts are a great way to foster a young child's sense of innovation, as well as allow them to feel pride in accomplishing something special!

In additon to sharing specific crafts or activities, this is also a place where parents can discuss crafting in general.  What is it about certain activities that your children seemed to enjoy or not enjoy?
