Grief And Bereavement

I created this group as a way to connect and share with others who have suffered the loss of a loved one and who are navigating the new world they now find themselves in.

Child Loss, Sibling Loss, Parental or Spousal Loss, Friend Loss... there are many losses in life and many griefs.

My intention for this group is for all to speak honestly and openly about not only the ugly side of grief, but the little healing things we find along the way, and the spiritual awakenings that are inevitable after great loss.

Whether you are in the ugly, dirty place of grief or are now in the place of good health, all are very welcome to join in sharing. Grief has a voice that can not and should not hide in silence.

Grief is not pretty, nor is it black and white. We need more open discussion in our society about death and dying, about grief and loss. And we need more discussions about how we as families, communities, and as a nation, can help others and help ourselves heal.
