Homeschool Break Room
About Homeschool Break Room
Remember the smoke-filled lounge at school that you could only glance into as the door shut in your face? (Hey, I went to school in the seventies when all of my teachers smoked.) Remember the room to which all the teachers retreated between classes to get away from us students?
I think homeschool teachers need a similar space. Yes, we take our homeschooling seriously, and we want the best education for our kids. Still, sometimes you need a place to vent or compare notes. For example, "Do you know what he did with the hot glue gun and the long-haired cat?" Or, "How did you motivate her to read War and Peace at nine. . . in the original Russian?"
Anyway, grab a cup of coffee or tea and join me in the break room.
