Stay-at-Home Mom Survival

Stay-at-Home moms are often told how lucky they are "not to work." Yes, Stay-at-Home moms are lucky to be able to get by (even barely) on one income, but Stay-at-Home motherhood, especially when it involves small children, is nothing but work!

This group is for new, veteran and potential Stay-at-Home moms who, although they absolutely love their kids, sometimes struggle with the daily grind of being 24/7 at-home, hands-on moms.

We want to support one another, and not snipe. We don't want to fight "Mommy Wars." (All moms, whether they are in the paid workforce or not, are working moms.) All are welcome, whether you're newly at home with an infant, you're juggling preschoolers, or your kids are in school.  

Think of this group as spending time with your Stay-at-Home colleagues, while you're working from your home office.

Full disclosure: This group is being started by Melissa Stanton, a stay-at-home mother of three (including twins) who is the author of The Stay-at-Home Survival Guide: Field-tested strategies for staying smart, sane, and connected while caring for your kids (Seal Press/Perseus Books). She's still home for the kids, still having good mom days and bad, and wanting to connect with other SAHM bloggers.
