The whole H1N1 topic has gotten out of hand like many subjects that hit the media. I can say that, I used to be a television reporter! My frustration is this; I have been calling for weeks now to find someone in this area who is providing the vaccine and keep getting turned down. This shocks me because not only do I know its available, but I’m 6 months pregnant and am supposed to be a priority! My OB is not going to carry it, my primary care doesn’t have it, the health department won't give me an appointment but says to "check back" in November. Yet I've seen local college campuses advertising its availability to its students, faculty, and staff. Since I'm neither of those, I can't get it. I’ve never been paranoid about these situations, but when you are among the few in that high-risk category, you tend to get a little panicky. Thanks world, for freaking out a pregnant woman who is already extremely hormonal!
