Happy April Fools’ Day! Though not an official holiday, the 1st of April is celebrated throughout America and western Europe as a time for silly gaffes and practical jokes. April Fools’ Day is yet another holdover from the pagan tradition, celebrated very close to the Spring Equinox and connecting us with the earth’s natural rhythm. It’s also related to The Fool in the tarot deck — that mercurial trickster of infinite possibility. In the spirit of the day, I bow deeply and doff my jester’s cap to you!
The Moon is in Aquarius all day, fitting for April Fools don’t you think? It’s 23% of full and getting smaller by the day.
