Gung Hay Fat Choy! Or, as we say more commonly here in the US, Happy Chinese New Year! 2008 is the Year of the Rat, which is the first sign of the Chinese zodiac, so we’re truly starting a brand-new cycle. That’s why people born in the Year of the Rat are said to be leaders and pioneers, and are also extremely intelligent and organized. I love the custom of cleaning house at the Chinese New Year — not in the way we might usually think of it, but in a spiritual way, by opening windows, burning incense and banging pots and pans to get rid of evil spirits. Try it! You’ll find that it’s a fun and surprisingly effective tradition.

The day begins with Moon in Aquarius. It goes Void of Course at 7:50 AM Pacific Time, and you know the drill. Work on old stuff, don’t start anything new! You can begin afresh when Moon enters Pisces at 5:46 PM.

There’s only one aspect today: Venus sextile Uranus: Venus sextile Uranus: Any number of fun activities are suggested by this frisky, flirtatious transit. A party with a wide range of people is the perfect solution.

Regards,

KT
