Hi Everyone,
I am having a bit or a dilemma at home. I have been with my husband for 10 years and we still don't have kids. I am 36 and he is 40. I am worried that the longer we wait the harder it will become to have a baby. I have had 3 operation on my ovaries and i have endometriosis, which the doc said will affect me when it comes to trying for a baby.
He keeps coming up with the usual excuses: Not the right time, no money, scared.
I just dont know what to do anymore, it is killing me inside. I have even been thinking about leaving him, but that will not sort the problem out.
Do any of you have the same problem?
Thanks for any advice.
Nat

Just a few thoughts
Hi Nat, I don't have an advice however I decide to say a few things. I am 39 y.o. woman with endometriosis stage 3 and I had my second surgery just 9 days ago. I was 27 when I had my first surgery (endo on my ovaries) and the surgeon told me that I must try to get pregnant immediately because in 1-2 years time it will probably not be possible (I wasn't married at that time so the advice was not useful). My point is that you are likely to have big difficulties with becoming pregnant indeed (because you of location of endo) and you need your husband to support your desire to have children. You may need some form of assisted fertilisation. I think you must make it very clear to your husband that you don't have the luxury of waiting. Perhaps it is a good idea to go to see your doctor together and discuss this issue. All the best, Artemisia
Thank you
Dear Artemisia,
Many thanks for your reply.
I think it's a good idea to take my husband with me to the doc so that he can hear it for himself. Maybe that will make him realise how serious the situation is.
All the best,
Nat
