I am a twenty four year old single mother to a blessing that I refer to only as "The Kid". I live in a small village where stupidity and ignorance runs rampant. Yes, I'm talking about Kentucky. No, I'm not illiterate or uneducated, nor do I receive a crazy check. I enjoy writing, reading, and singing. I would consider myself the Karaoke Queen, but only in private. I am a Correctional & Juvenile Justice major with only one year left before I get my degree! My goals and aspirations? Get that damn degree. Oh, and maybe write a book one day.

I have blogged privately for 10 years, and just recently started a public blog that I call The Atomic Mommy. One of the main reasons I came to Blogher is to learn from some real women bloggers how it is done. I need tips and tricks people! Every one is more than welcome to swing by and say hello - or whatever else you would like. I'm always open to suggestions/criticism/sedatives.
