I'm a stay-at-home, attachment parent, crunchy mom. I'm also a psychologist. I think of myself as working on a really long and involved experiment in parenting mindfully. The hours are outrageous and the pay sucks, but the benefits can't be beat. I live my crunchy life in the heart of suburbia. I could easily "pass" as a mainsream mom on the street, but watch me for a while, talk to me a bit, and you'll soon discover that I'm genuine crunchy through and through. Y'know "one of those" moms.
