Hi. I'm passionate about women using their marketplace clout to protect the environment. I believe women who spend their money on products and services that can benefit the planet can be the greatest force for environmental change in the world. I'm excited to see women empowered by using their purses to get the world they want. My new book, Big Green Purse: Use Your Spending Power to Create a Cleaner, Greener World offers dozens of ways women can afford a greener lifestyle while using their consumer clout to accelerate the transition to a cleaner, greener planet. In addition to writing books, I speak on college campuses and before many other audiences, and consult with companies and non-profit organizations. I also update my widget once a week with an affordable green living tip, and send out a free e-newsletter every two weeks. The One in a Million campaign on www.biggreenpurse.com is encouraging a million shoppers to shift their spending to products and services that offer the greatest environmental benefit. My family -- husband and two kids, a dog and two cats -- and I live in the eco-friendly house we helped design and build 20+ years ago. I'd love to get your ideas for additional topics for BigGreenPurse.com. Take a look, then drop me a line. Also, please share your thoughts for the next printing of "Big Green Purse: Use Your Spending Power to Create a Cleaner, Greener World." My BlogHer Conferences
