51 years old and proud of every single wrinkle and gray hair - but I cover them up, anyway.

Blogger going on four years now (www.emergiblog.com).  I blog about my life (and times) as an emergency department nurse.  I also manage "Change of Shift" a bi-weekly nursing blog carnival that is entering it's third year.

Been a nurse for 30 years, married for 29 years.  Three kids, two married (ages 27 and 24) and one just on her way to college (age 18).  

Can you say F-R-E-E-D-O-M?  Freedom is just another word for no kids left at home!

I'm in the process of (finally) getting my BS degree in Nursing, with the goal of an MS and then a PhD by the age of 60 - hopefully segueing into research or teaching.

I'm a NASCAR fan and Kasey Kahne is my driver.  He's young enough to be my son and cute enough that I don't care!

Closet rock groupie - love the Bee Gees and Jeff Scott Soto.  Think Steve Perry is God's gift to my ears!

I'm too fat, too busy and too tired.  Some day I'll work on that...
