Liz Gumbinner is a contributing editor to BlogHer for the new Beauty Hacks category but can also be found creeping around the political posts.
She's the co-editor of the popular shopping for parents, Cool Mom Picks, which scours the web for the coolest gifts and gear for kids and the grown ups who love them. She takes on parenting culture (and her own attempts to figure out the whole parenting thing) on her personal blog, Mom-101, and is a contributor to MOMocrats.
Her writing can be found offline in magazines including Brain, Child and New York Parent and in the anthologies Sleep is for the Week: The Best of the Mommybloggers (Chicago Press, 2008) and 42 Tips for Working Moms (Superstar Press, 2008). She's also the co-author of Booty Food (Bloomsbury USA, 2004), a humorous cookbook cum relationship guide.
In her spare time she's a freelance creative director/copywriter creating some of the ads you love and some that she'll never admit to. Liz lives with her partner and two spectacular daughters in Brooklyn, NY.
