I've been baking cookies my entire life. I started as a "helper" in my grandma's kitchen. Eventually, I became old enough to actually do some of the baking myself, and I haven't stopped since.I love everything about cookies. The smell from the oven wafting through the house, the feel of the dough squishing between my fingers, the taste of the soft dough in my mouth (come on, you know you eat the dough to!), and of course, the finished product with a nice, tall glass of cold milk or cup of hot tea.I've been blogging about cookies since June of 08 when I started my own cookie business. To my surprise, I had so many folks coming to me asking me how to start their own cookie businesses, that I started to form an online community of new bakers and entrepreneurs.Eventually, it just didn't feel right to be competing with the very companies I was trying to help. So I gave up my cookie business, and now I help other people start their own cookie businesses on a regular basis. Baking is so much more than throwing some ingredients into a bowl. I believe in the passion of baking, and I believe in the memories that baking can create for children and families. What better way to create memories than to get into the kitchen and make something wonderful.I hope you'll stop by my blog (www.TheCookieBlog.com), find some recipes, and start creating some new memories for your own family."Grab a cookie and celebrate the simple moments of your life."Thanks for reading,
