I started blogging in July of 2006 as a way to cope with and sort through the aftermath of my first husband's death earlier that year. I abandoned that first attempt in March of '07 to start my current blogging effort because a lot in my life and myself had changed. I was engaged and planning to move to another country to be with man who is now my husband. Last summer I was a widowed mom and high school teacher. This summer I am a newlywed immigrant. Life sure is funny.
