I have been a blogger since March, 2006 for El Tiempo, a newspaper from Bogota, Colombia. The name of the blog is: Se Busca Esposa Latina (Latina Wife Wanted). I shared my experience with the readers after I followed a dream that turned out to be a huge lesson for me to learn! Leaving my country and a nice job thinking that I have found the perfect husband, then, the war in Colombia got worse, five years later, I found my self becoming a follower and submisive wife...living on a sailboat...

That is the reason I wanted to open a blog: to educate men to understand that Latinas are not different than other women and that we have the same dreams and rights. That Domestic Violence is a world wide epidemic behind home doors. I wanted to be the voice of many women that felt trapped, mute and paralized.

I have been translating information I found in the web from English to Spanish for women to know why men were so attracted and desperate to find a "latina hot wife."

I'm passionate about children, women, inmigrant issues, and Human Rights.

I keep dreaming that Colombia is going to resolve the 40 years of war in a peaceful way. That is the reason I love blogging: it has created a venue for humanity, and for colombians or people from other nationalities to speak OUT about these issues...and for the leaders to read what WE have to say!.

The blog keeps evolving with the changes of technology and themes that the Newspaper and the readers bring to me. I am not a journalist neither a computer expert. I have a degree in Advertisement and Marketing in my native country.

I am a mother of a 20 year old son that just moved back to Colombia. I am a Massage Therapist and I have my practice with two doctors. I have studied Shamanism, Biodanza, and I am a Certified Hand Analysis practicioner...Soon I will get my certificate as a mediator to Resolve Conflicts in the Work place or with families, and I am so excited about it!
