At 32, I am a working mother of two, Sophia and Ryan, who are only 14 months apart. I also have a 14-year-old stepson. I work full-time as an entertainment editor at a newspaper. Both of my children are in daycare. My family is my greatest joy, but working allows me to more fully enjoy my time with them. I do not think working mothers should feel guilty for working, they should feel empowered that they can work. Just as there are challenges for stay-at-home moms, working moms have their own unique set of challenges.
