In the summer of 2006 my fiance (of 9 years) got his MBA from the University of Chicago and we headed due west in the Civic with a plan A B C & D. The goal was to get back to California, preferably the Bay Area. This is my 28th move and its destination is still unknown. I chronicle this ongoing adventure in my blog, Beyond The Loop, which I started back in 2004 as we were leaving Austin, Texas, and returning to the Bay Area.

When I am not packing (or unpacking), I enjoy reading, listening to music, cooking, going to the movies, exploring museums, taking pictures, and making the most of wherever I find myself. My goal is to one day have a place that I am happy to call home.

Fun fact about me: I was born in the same hospital as Martha Stewart.
