A business consultant and principal of J. G. Richards Consulting, I’m new to the online world, but learning as fast as I can. My business website is being redesigned, my "training blog" will soon split into two different ones, and I’m creating information products based on nearly fifteen years of helping other businesses run faster, farther, better than they ever thought they could. I started my entrepreneurial life early, at 10 with a cookie business. I planned to run it only long enough to earn the money to buy my first nice bike. The result of the experience? I liked the bike. I LOVED the business.
My consulting clients now are in companies that are changing or growing too fast. I work with them to create the work and process infrastructure that turns good ideas into coordinated actions, work flows, communications and lower costs. I’m really looking forward to BlogHer ’08, and meeting other newbies like myself, as well as experienced bloggers and online business owners. It sounds like a great, eye-opening (life-changing?) experience.
