About
Karrie Herzog would describe herself as a diarist/humorist who has been writing down her thoughts, feelings, disasters and triumphs for over 25 years. Much of this “material” finds it’s way into various talks she gives to her female audiences of all ages and stages. Karrie has been motivating and encouraging her audiences with both her words and her voice for the past 17 years. Karrie has her B. S. in Women’s Studies and while in college, traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada and even Korea with the Sounds of Heritage singing group. In 1990, Karrie represented the state of Colorado in the Miss America Scholarship Pageant, placing in the Top Ten and winning one of the 6 coveted preliminary awards. Following her year of service as Miss Colorado, Karrie joined the cast of 9KUSA’s Good Afternoon Colorado as the resident “fashion expert”. After several months of organizing and presenting on-air fashion shows, she learned how to write and produce her own feature stories and even filled in as co-host for the popular afternoon show.
