Need an answered prayer?

JMJ Do you have a prayer request? A special need?  Well, I spent all night placing a live webcam to Lourdes, France on my website, including a little mailbox to their prayer request email.  All kinds of weird computer problems kept cropping up, and I kept offering them up as a prayer, which did help to keep me from being annoyed.  Then... This morning I got an email from a friend who told me that today is OUR LADY OF LOURDES FEAST DAY!  Wow.  I had no idea!  That is just so cool... ...more

In which I remember to be thirty-one

This is the third part of a series you can find here.               So, where was I? Oh, yeah. I was in the loony bin. Now I remember. I was telling you about the time Maw and Paw first broached the idea of us all moving in together. ...more

Happy 2010!

Feminism and Gender in the Aughts

The last ten years have been nothing if not a roller coaster ride when it comes to feminism and gender. I found the lows to be more plentiful than the highs, but the surprises kept coming. So, in no particular order, here's what stuck out to me: ...more
