Angélica Pérez, PhD is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice, and a social entrepreneur.  She is the publisher & CEO of NEW LATINA, a digital media platform that promotes personal and professional success among Latinas.  Dr. Perez is the creator of several leadership and education initiatives, including a Latina Leadership Conference, schedued for the summer of 2013.  She is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and other online publications, and has been an invited guest expert on Univision, Telemundo and HITN.  Dr. Perez was recognized as the Top Latin@ Blogger of the Year by LATISM, in 2011.


Stephanie Quilao is the Founder and Chief Storyteller of Thriving Media. She is well-known for her (now retired) healthy living blog Back in Skinny Jeans, and healthy eating blog Noshtopia. During her 22 year career in communications, Stephanie Scott has focused on delivering programs that improve health education and drive better awareness and understanding of wellness and disease prevention. Stephanie has worked within the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies for the past 10 years and joined Ortho Clinical Diagnostics earlier this year. Her responsibilities include leading the company’s vision to enable people to “Be Healthier, Feel Better and Live Longer” through programs that help patients, as well as company employees, improve their wellbeing through a better understand their own health information. Stephanie is a graduate of Temple University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
