Introduction and Lush Sugar Scrub Review
Hello all! My name is Kassandra and I figured I would give a try at this whole blogging-thing. So first of all, and introduction to myself. I am currently going into my fourth semester at a community college in my hometown. I also consider myself to be a teacher, even though I'm really not. Sometimes I vocal coach at high school (right now I'm trying out a middle school) whenever they put on musicals. Eventually, I would love to become a high school theatre and English teacher.
I will tell you all more if you guys would like, but now let's get onto what my blog will mainly be. I decided to review random products (I know, so original). It can be a makeup product that I have tried, a body product, clothing, or even toothpaste (if I am so inclined).
Today, I would like for you to feast your eyes on this....
(This picture comes straight from the Lush website.). This is the Sugar Scrub from Lush. I received a wonderful gift box filled with Lush items from my father for Christmas. I have totally used up the Sugar Scrub, and I absolutely loved it. It was a little harsh, so I would not recommend it for anyone with senstive skin. I used this everyday in the shower for my elbows, knees and feet. I also used them for my armpits because I am trying to lighten them (don't make fun of me, I'm human). I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin, especially now with the dry winter air. The treated areas are a lot softer and have a radiant glow than before I used the scrub. I also might add that my armpits have lightened a bit, yay!
The scent is also fabulous. I am horrible at guessing scents, so I will just write down what Lush has to say about it. The scent of the sugar lump is from the fennel, ginger and lavender. It might sound weird, but trust me, it is fantastic.
Now, the way I used this product was I crumbled off the amount that I thought I would use before I got into the shower. That way, it didn't just dissolve in my shower. You also get as much use out of the product that you really deserve for the price (let's be honest, Lush is not that cheap). I believe I was able to get a week and a half out of this scrub. I do not know how long this would last for use on your full body.
The Lush Sugar Scrub retails at $6.25 for 3.5 oz. What are some Lush products that you have loved? I would love to know.
