In the horizontal navigation at the top of the page, you'll see "How to use this site". That will help get you started. You've already registered... next step, fill out both of your profiles. After that, list your blog if you have one. After that, introduce yourself which you've also sort of done here (or you can do that in the forums.)
Read some blog posts by editors and members, and leave some comments. Write some blog posts of your own, if you like. Subscribe to some of your favorite topics in a feedreader if you have one.
Most important thing, jump right in and get to know people by talking to them - and let us get to know you by talking to you.
If you have specific questions about tools or areas of the site, feel free to ask. There's a "Using this site" forum that's perfect for asking tech questions. (Click Community and then click Forums to make your way there.)
