I've managed to annoy the hell out of memebers of three different websites with my eternal pounding e-rants - and so, I open this account, as a storage place for my next series of ranting and raving over life and how impacting it is.
I often wonder why it is people like me can think so much, and then other people can sit there numbly, perfectly content with letting the world float by them, without ever asking any questions. Never desiring to find out anything. Never wondering, simply feeling complete with... simplicity. I would wither away and die if I stopped studying and questioning my environment, because the question why torments me my every living moment-even in my sleep I cannot get away from the hounding desire to know. So I think and write, write and think. And still, I come up with no answers.
Humanity is a severely limited race. We are limited in ability, we are limited in power, and we are limited in thought; we are limitied in our egocentric existenses the admittance of these limitations. We are all existingin a world that we believe we own, and that everything in it is there solely for us. Animals, plants, water, even other humans, its been shown time and time again that we simply cannot get over the human vice of using-we always have to be using something or someone-and we ourselves are used. Do we even realize that every moment of our lives we are using someone, and someone else is using us simultaneously? If you work, your boss is using you to expand his/her business, to make them richer. To make more money. I'm a student; the goverment is using me to make the US a better country, a more intelligent country, a country more capable of.. making money. Money is everything; don't even deny it. Imagine, for half a second, that the world had no money. What do you see? Peace, calamity? What is money to us human beings that it is not to animals that it keeps us under its sonorious hypnotic control? Our sole purpose in life is tocollect as much of this money as possible. Why?
Cash is a necessity. You need it to feed you families, to buy houses for shelter, for transportation, for comfort. No you don't. Before there was money, there were hunter-gatherers living in caves and making clothing out of cotton they grew and harvested themselves. Money buys nothing for us but convenience, and a place in society. Someone without money in our exesstentialistic society is labeled with many derogatory words-"hobo", and such. Money buys us comfort; money buys us ease. Money buys us the ability to use somebody to provide us with a good or service; someone who is using us.. for money.
It's sad what thisworld has come to. People are willing to defend pain, suffering, and death because they believe it benefits them in some way. Our world is going down the tubes.. its depressing how no one cares. No one really cares. Or our world wouldn't be so weary of its troubles. Everyone's suffering with the twisted consequences of their selfish desires, and they have no time or energy to care about those who suffer like them. It's his problem, let him take care of it. I don't care, well, I'd love to help, but I have my own ______ eating away at me. ...and that is the human condition, that we cannot solve the human condition.
Totally off-topic-when I lose this 20 pounds, I've decided to treat myself to new haircut. A nice, HOT, haircut. Maybe even a dye job. Yes, my poor hair is going under the scissors yet again, even after last time's traumatizing de-virginizing experience. Well, either way, its a weight-loss incentive. Cool. B)
