Hi everyone,

I've had my blog listed here for some time now, but I'm just getting started as fas as nosing around on this wonderful site and becoming part of the BlogHer community. Can't wait to meet many of you in person in San Francisco in July!

I've had my blog, Parent Talk Today (http://www.parenttalktoday.com) since July 2007. I'm the mom of a 12-year-old son and I'm a freelance journalist who writes for USA Today, Woman's Day, the Los Angeles Times and many other pubs. But my favorite writing is what I do for Parent Talk Today. It's great to be able to respond quickly to what's going on in the parenting world -- and in my own family.
