Hi from a new member

I'm so happy to have found this place and all you wonderful folks. I've been reading posts about the conference and wish I had known about it before now! Next year... I'm impressed with this site and with the people here. Some great discussions going on.

I'm new to blogging, but I've been a full-time freelance journalist for about 13 years. I write for Woman's Day, Family Circle, the Los Angeles Times, a bunch of websites and many regional parenting and women's mags. I love it. I just started my blog, "Parent Talk" last month.
