The High Cost of Not Treating ADHD

September is National ADHD Awareness Month and what better time to talk about the long-term risks of not treating the disorder?
Here's an article on some of the long-term symptoms of untreated ADHD:
As you can see, these are big concerns: anxiety/depression, difficulty managing time and money, difficulty getting into college? This is serious stuff!
The solution isn't necessarily to put your kids on stimulant meds for the rest of their life. Instead, address and treat the root cause of ADHD: weak attention skills.
Don't use video games that claim to train the brain. Find a reputation center that uses one-on-one intensive cognitive skills training.
