High Point Fall 2012: Pearson Furniture New Intros
By Design Perspective on November 08, 2012
One stop I always look forward to when visiting High Point Market is Pearson's showroom. They have such a beautiful showroom, and every market they do an excellent job showcasing their new introductions with their other products.
9681 Center Table
Upon entering the showroom, several new pieces are showcased in a gorgeous color scheme of vibrant emerald green and cream. Emerald is said to be the color of the year for 2013. Jennifer McConnell did a fabulous job of arranging all the vignettes. She created a cohesiveness throughout the entire showroom with the color palettes and furniture selections. The overall feel in this gorgeous showroom was updated traditional style with transitional sophistications.
There are so many post ideas I have in store for Pearson furniture, but for today I thought I'd share with you their new introductions from market. Enjoy!
New sofa and retro cocktail table showcased in the front room in that emerald and cream color scheme I mentioned above.
2306-1:2 Sofa & 9743 Cocktail Table
The 9743 cocktail table is one standout piece! When I saw this piece, I was immediately drawn to the cream and gold combination and clean lines. Jennifer did a great job pairing the traditional sofa with this Mad Men inspired table.
9743 Cocktail Table
Gorgeous clean silhouette on the arms of this sofa and the faux shagreen and gold benches and side table are some of Pearson's best sellers.
Not a new sofa, but a new fabric for Pearson--a beautiful emerald green chinoiserie fabric. I fell in love with this fabric upon seeing it; absolutely stunning! And in combination with this French settee, creates a crisp, classic traditional look with a modern twist provided by the geometric fabric on the accent pillow.
This is a great clean lined sectional Pearson introduced this market. In fact multi-sectional units were a big trend I saw. Notice the color of the sofa, navy blue. Blue is another Pantone Spring 2013 color trend!
2112 Sectional Series
Transitional style at its best in this new sofa by Pearson. The feet are a modernization of the cabriole leg.
Remember this piece? I introduced this beautiful faux shagreen and silver cabinet before market as a sneak peek (here). Pearson introduced this beautiful piece this market, and I love the details: starburst on cabinet door face, clean and simple cabinet hardware, and Greek key feet.
Beautiful new rolled arm sofa.
A fabulous and dramatic new petite drinks table wrapped in Italian leather embossed in a boa constrictor design.
9677 Drinks Table
Another fabulous drinks table introduced this market, the bunching tables. These cross shaped tables are perfect on their own, but create a larger cross. What you can't see is the top of each table has an embossed subtle "X".

Tufting is another major trend in the home furnishings, and Pearson introduced a beautiful tufted chair and ottoman.
406 Tufted Back Chair
Another sectional introduced this market, deep and as comfortable as it looks.
Upholstered headboards have been a big trend and Pearson introduced 2 new headboards this market. This feminine shaped headboard has an outer channel lined with a nail head detail.
31-60 Queen Bed
Pearson added this nightstand to their occasional collection to compliment their already successful upholstered headboards. This nightstand has a classic look with beautiful geometric brass hardware.
A more tailored, masculine upholstered headboard compared to the one above is equally as beautiful.
11-60 Queen Bed
