A Historical Blog - Isn't that an Oxymoron?

HerStory Scrapbook  The HerStory Scrapbook is a “you-are-there”  account of the final four years of the fight for women’s suffrage. Think of it as a “historical blog” – a day-by-day report, as chronicled by The New York Times, of the battle to win the right to vote for women. From 1917 – 1920, The New York Times published over 3,000 articles, editorials, and letters about the women who were fighting for, and against, suffrage. The HerStory Scrapbook is a compilation of over 900 links to the most interesting pieces in The New York Times Archive.

August 26 is the anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment, giving women across the United States the right to vote.
