I’ve been walking back and forth from the living room to the kitchen now for about two hours. I open the freezer and simply stare at the quart of rocky road that’s calling my name. I’m refraining but I don’t think that my will power will last much longer. I have reached the height of my boredom.

So let’s see what I can share with all my readers (if there are any) to keep myself out of the kitchen. Two of my new girl friends recently revealed to me that they use ‘toys’ to pleasure themselves and to use in the bed with their significant other. I find this rather interesting. But what was even more interesting was how surprised they were that I didn’t own anything and that I had never masturbated. Is this something that is really that common?

Anytime this conversation comes up with my closest friends, it is almost made into a joke. Like who would do that?? Why would anyone do that? That kind of thing. We had a friend in high school that actually bought a vibrator for another friend and she was made fun of for years. I honestly don’t understand. For years, I thought that doing something like that was wrong. That women weren’t supposed to be that comfortable with their bodies. But I’ll have to admit that I’ve always been curious. It was so relieving to hear my two friends talk about all the toys they owned. Haha. One even went so far to say that it helped her to become more comfortable with their bodies. I guess I would have to agree with this. I’ve just recently started having sex and I know what feels good but I’m just not comfortable with myself and the act yet.

So guess what guys? They are taking me to introduce me to the world of toys next week. And I’m a little excited to see what I’m getting myself into.
