It's the Little Things

Today we all ate a great breakfast as a family, including Poppy (the kids’ grandpa) who came in from out of town. There was pancakes, oatmeal, a medley of fruits, and some delicious bacon to fill our hungry bellies. Talk about good eatin’! A Gardening Sabatical: Saying Good-bye to Daddy

I love to garden.  Fruits, veggies and flowers. It is a wonderfully satisfying and relaxing hobby that I learned from my father. When he was alive, his flower gardens could have been on the cover of any number of gardening magazines you see lining the racks at your local home & garden center.  They were absolutely gorgeous! They were filled with all the colors of the rainbow. He definitely had a 'green thumb.'...more
