Everyone is creative by nature. It is how we use them that matters. Actually in India, we have just two major seasons. Summer and Winter. Fall and Spring are not counted. But here in the US, I am so excited to see Fall and Spring of which I have only read about. Also I noticed that people here love their homes. I mean literally! They love to decorate! I am so impressed and came out with few ideas for decorating your house for each month.
When you show the variation each month, your creative side is shown to the world. Here are my ideas and hope you would add more to it.
JAN - Decorating with Snowmen, snow dolls, scraf, anything crocheted or knitted! Also New Years Display, Wall hangings with New year's sayings, Gift cards etc.
FEB - Valentine's heart shaped bows, roses, mainly red colour articles. Chocolates, Love poems etc.
MAR - Easter and Spring collection. Easter eggs, colored eggs (big ones to hang and place out side the house), bunnies, baskets, candies etc
APR - You can continue the spring collection for this month too
MAY/JUN - Its gardenning time. Flowers, seeds, plants, potted flowers etc
JULY/AUG- Summertime. Decorating swimming pools, light coloured articles. fruits and vegetables and lot of flowers
SEPT - Autumn leaves, fall colour,Apples etc
OCT- Halloween time. Anything ghostly! or even harvest related
NOV- Thanksgiving time. Special notes, thankyou notes, decorating the house how your parents like etc
DEC- Christmas trees, Santa clause, Angels (I need not tell, you all know more than me!)
These are my ideas and I know you can add more to it. I would really appreciate if you can share your ideas on this topic.
