Homemade Apple Cider Beer Batter Bread

Homemade beer batter bread is so easy and quick to make, it’s almost like making it from the box. While the box recipes simply add a bottle of beer and stir lightly, homemade beer batter bread recipes use anywhere from three to five ingredients depending on the recipe you choose to follow. I looked over dozens and tried a few in the past. None of them are really all that different from each other, but a couple of things stood out for me. So what I’m giving you here is my idea of what makes the best beer batter for what I call Homemade Apple Cider Beer Batter Bread. For me the difference is in the brown sugar and the apple cider beer.

Some recipes merely use flour, beer, and sugar. Others use the same with brown sugar in place of regular sugar. I prefer the brown sugar and the flavor it adds to the bread.
