Homemade Pizza Pockets
By BridgetIleneDelaney on June 30, 2014
Today, my sister and I ran some errands. We found ourselves eating a late lunch/early dinner at a gas station because we were hungry and the food there was cheap. I had a pizza stick. I enjoyed it. This brough back memories of cooking class in middle school. I don't know why I don' t make these more often because they are easy to make and they taste good. Plus, they are better than Totino's Pizza Rolls.
One baking tray.
One can of refrigerated biscuits
Italian cheese of your choosing (cubes, shredded, however you'd like it)
Meat such as pepperoni, baked chicken, ham, or Italian Sausage (optional)
Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the can of refrigerated biscuits.
Separate the biscuits and flatten each onto the baking tray.
Spread pizza sauce on each biscuit, leaving a small boarder of biscuit.
Place a cube of cheese or a sprinkle of shredded cheese on each biscuit.
Place a single piece of meat or several small crumbs of meat on each biscuit.
Fold each biscuit in half and press the dough on the edges together so it holds.
Bake the biscuits according to the instructions on the can from the refrigerated biscuits.
Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool.
Serve as desired.
