Here’s What I Would Do Differently The 2nd Time Around…
1. Spend some serious cash on “THE CURRICULUM”
THE BAD: Everyone is pinching pennies. I get it. Our family has a budget and I’m always deciding whether to get one brand of toothpaste over another just based on price….just like everyone else. Here’s where I should have busted the bank. This is a personal decision. I realize that. It’s just that for me, I wish I would have spent money on the big box curriculum like…wait for it…wait for it…SonLight. There. I said it. No one paid me to say it, but it’s true. I would have felt better having a set curriculum for the entire year.
